The final installment of Championship Wrestling From Hollywood’s Blockbuster Event Milestone is upon us this week. What better way to kick off the program than with a clash of two of Hollywood’s fiercest giants? Jack Swagger faces his most intense challenge yet as he steps into the ring with “The Machine” Brian Cage. Can Swagger break Cage’s ankle before Cage breaks him in half?

Fan favorite Tim Storm returns to the Oceanview Pavilion to take on the young upstart Karl Fredericks. Fredericks has speed, but Tim Storm has a world-class resume and one thing that youth cannot trump: experience. Will Fredericks manage to out-maneuver the former NWA Worlds Heavyweight Champion or will Karl’s eagerness spell a Perfect Storm for the former Champ?

In our main event, we present the rematch that fans have waited all year to see. After Rocky Romero spent 2017 defending the United Wrestling Network Television Championship in Japan, he is back on American soil to prove that he is still the best in the world – if he can get through Scorpio Sky. Sky hasn’t taken kindly to Romero’s absence over the last several months and doesn’t intend on wasting an opportunity to get his hands on the Television Title for a fourth time. After their bout at the Red Carpet Rumble ended in a No Contest, this match is surely one you’re not going to want to miss. Check out this and more as Championship Wrestling From Hollywood presents the final installment of Milestone!

Heritage: A CWFH Weekend Preview

Week two of Milestone is here and it’s jam-packed with great action. Kicking off this week is the United Wrestling Network World Tag Team Championship as Pac 3 defends against Reno Scum. Reno Scum last challenged the champs in the fall of 2017 and due to some interference from Coach Flexo they left the Oceanview Pavilion empty handed. Will Adam Thornstowe and Luster the Legend dispose of the meddlesome team captain and mosh their way to gold or will the numbers game once again prove to be in the playbook for the defending champions?

A true showcase of the talented competitors on Championship Wrestling From Hollywood is on display this week as a quartet of the most unique individuals on the roster meet in a Four Way Dance. Bateman, Ryan Taylor, Matt Knicks, and Dicky Mayer will go at it, every man for himself, vying for one fall. Certain to please any spectator, be sure to check out this contest on the program.

In this episode’s main event, the bell finally rings for title match that we’ve waited a lifetime to see. Two giants of the sport clash as Watts challenges Bad Dude Tito for the Hollywood Heritage Championship. Watts’ mentor and first Progenitor of Hyperoptimism, Ty Matthews, has spent the last several weeks scouting Tito in an effort to pick apart the Champion from the inside. After suffering a beating from Tito in a match he requested in order to get close to the man, Ty Matthews is confident that Watts is more ready now than ever to bring the Hollywood Heritage Championship to the realm of Hyperoptimism. Will Watts fade to black or will it be a bad day for the “Bad Dude”? Tune in when Championship Wrestling From Hollywood presents week two of Milestone!

The day is finally here! After weeks of anticipation, we are beyond excited to present the first edition of this year’s Blockbuster Event, Milestone! We’re kicking the episode off with a preview of the upcoming PP3 Memorial Cup Tournament by having every competitor who has qualified square off in a chaotic 8-man Tag Team match. If you don’t have a favorite yet for the Cup, this is the chance to see all eight men in action at once.

As Milestone continues, we’ll have a special attraction as women’s wrestling returns to the program for our Blockbuster Event. Two of the most colorful grapplers to step into the ring will go toe-to-toe as Shotzi Blackheart takes on Willow Nightingale under the bright lights of Hollywood. Will Shotzi leave her opponent green with envy or will the starlet from Long Island pick up a victory as big as her hair?

The most emotional rivalry of the year comes to a head in the Main Event of our program as Ray Rosas and “Professional” Peter Avalon settle their differences in a Steel Cage Match! With The Office locked out and Peter locked in, will Ray finally have a fair shot at his former partner or will Avalon show Rosas why they will never be friends again? Will their past define their future? Tune in to this week’s Championship Wrestling From Hollywood to find out!

2017 Retrospective: A CWFH Weekend Preview

Fans, this is our last stop before we kickoff our Blockbuster Event, Milestone, next week! This week we’re taking another look back at 2017. No conversation about 2017 in Championship Wrestling From Hollywood would be complete without talking about the return of the NWA Worlds Heavyweight Championship. On this program, you’ll see highlights from Nick Aldis challenging Champion Tim Storm in one of the most anticipated matchups of the year.

From one historic title defense to another historic title defense, Championship Wrestling From Hollywood is proud to present it’s most talked about Hollywood Heritage Championship match of the year. Bad Dude Tito challenges “Professional” Peter Avalon for the title that Peter holds for over 600 days as of this match. Will Avalon outmaneuver the “Baddest Man in Professional Wrestling” once more or will Tito put an end to Peter’s record-breaking reign?

Finally, we take a look at the most athletically-challenging feud of the year: the struggle for the United Wrestling Network Television Championship. It’s hard to find two competitors more evenly matched than Rocky Romero and Scorpio Sky. As these two men prepare for their rematch at Milestone, we’ll review their clash at the 2017 Red Carpet Rumble to show you what’s kept them duking it out throughout the year.
All of this and more on this week’s episode. We hope you enjoy our Year in Review. Everyone at Championship Wrestling From Hollywood would like to wish the fans a Happy New Year and make sure to tune in next week as we present Milestone!

Make Your New Years Resolution to Train at the International WrestleCenter

They say that you become a professional wrestler the same way that you become a doctor: you go to school. But as any doctor knows, the first step to getting a great education is picking the right place to study. With no shortage of professional wrestling schools in the United States, let alone in Southern California, it can be a lot to sift through to unearth a reputable training facility. Well look no further, as the United Wrestling Network International WrestleCenter is now accepting new students for the 2018 class beginning in January. But why train with United?

The WrestleCenter is the only training facility on the West Coast that will teach you how to be on television with an actual television show. Located less than ten minutes away from the Oceanview Pavilion (where Championship Wrestling From Hollywood is recorded), the school is developed and operated with the same resources that make our national programming possible. With the eye for television always overseeing classes at the WrestleCenter, our students are put directly in line for televised opportunities in several of the United promotions, including Championship Wrestling From Arizona and Combat Zone Wrestling. Three of our top students had matches on Championship Wrestling From Hollywood in 2017 and the school itself has produced mainstays of the CWFH main roster, notably former United Wrestling Network World Tag Team Champion Dan Joseph.

A recent class at the WrestleCenter

Who are the trainers? The WrestleCenter is led by head trainers “Professional” Peter Avalon and Impact Wrestling Global Champion Eli Drake. It is frequented by guest trainers such as Rocky Romero, Marty Scurll, Finn Balor, Joey Ryan, and Billy Gunn.

Head Trainer “Professional” Peter Avalon

Says head trainer Peter Avalon on the advantages of training with United, “I have over ten years experience in wrestling. Eight of those have been on television. I have appeared on numerous major television wrestling outlets and have worked with some of the top wrestlers in the world. I have trained people who have gone on to tryouts and have helped to mold people on the Indy scene today. If you want to be a well-rounded television wrestler, the WrestleCenter is your spot.”

This all sound great, but tight on cash? No need to worry. For the 2018 class, the WrestleCenter is now offering Free Tuition to all new students. No joking around, classes will be 100% free going forward. Start 2018 off right by signing up to train to be a Professional Wrestler at the United Wrestling Network International WrestleCenter!

The UWN International WrestleCenter is located at

1225 Saviers Rd Unit 1

Oxnard, CA 93033

Devin Sparks Replaced in PP3 Tournament

Living the lifestyle of an international superstar invites challenges from around the world. Unfortunately for the “American Kaiju” Devin Sparks, the challenges of Japanese strong style got the better of him in a recent matchup. HollywoodWrestling.com has learned that Sparks suffered a concussion at a live event outside Tokyo, Japan that has rendered him unable to compete in the upcoming PP3 Cup Tournament. But with one of the PP3 competitors out, who will take Devin’s place? We reached out to Championship Wrestling From Hollywood minority owner Nikko Marquez for an answer.
Devin Sparks won the World Heritage Invitational in 2017 for a shot at Bad Dude Tito
“I’m always prepared for things like this,” says the collected Marquez. “After hearing about Mr. Sparks’ accident, I immediately picked up the phone and called the man who’s going to take his place. That man is Ricky Mandel.”

Nikko Marquez’ choice to replace Devin Sparks isn’t without merit. Ricky Mandel won the 2014 PP3 Cup Tournament and used Percy’s Privilege to capture the Hollywood Heritage Championship that same year. With the record book showing that Mandel has been there and done that, will history be able to repeat itself? Stay tuned to the PP3 Cup Tournament, kicking off in January!
We wish “The American Kaiju” Devin Sparks a speedy recovery and hope to see him back in action on Championship Wrestling From Hollywood in the New Year.

Year in Review: A CWFH Weekend Preview

Happy Holidays fans! Before we head into our Winter Blockbuster, Milestone, we’re going to take a look back at the year that led us to this monumental event. 2017 was a year of opportunity on Championship Wrestling From Hollywood, and no opportunity is quite like the PP3 Cup. We’ll kick off this week’s episode by revisiting the finals of the PP3 Cup Tournament, pitting Dicky Mayer against Ryan Taylor. Will the young Mayer make a name for himself or will Ryan Taylor add the PP3 Cup to his list of accolades in Hollywood?

CWFH’s Summer Blockbuster The Red Carpet Rumble is always full of huge moments. The event itself is centered around the match that gave it its namesake. The Red Carpet Rumble match pits thirty of Hollywood’s top stars against one another in an every-man-for-himself scenario with the winner earning a future shot at the Hollywood Heritage Championship. On this episode, we’ll take a look back at the uphill battle that was the 2017 Red Carpet Rumble. No one had more of a hill to climb than entrant number one: Bateman.
No rest for the wicked. Bateman enters #1 in the 2017 Red Carpet Rumble
One of the most unique bouts of 2017 is on display this week as the United Wrestling Network sanctioned a CZW Wired Championship match between YUMA and champion Joey Janela. This first-time ever encounter brought elements of the Combat Zone into Hollywood in ways never before seen by our audience. Will YUMA score an upset over the “Bad Boy” or will Joey Janela stroll down the Hollywood Walk of Fame with the Wired Title still around his waist? Tune in for this and much more as we look back at 2017 on this week’s episode of Championship Wrestling From Hollywood!

Sweet Charlotte: A CWFH Weekend Preview

We kick off this week’s program with a barn-burner of a PP3 qualifier as Julius Coleman takes on Ray Rosas. Coleman has been on a hot streak in the last few months on Championship Wrestling From Hollywood, showing the fans that he can hang with anyone, including the man who keeps sticking his nose in Ray Rosas’ business, “Professional” Peter Avalon. Ray Rosas recently lost an opportunity for a Hollywood Heritage Championship match due to the involvement of Peter Avalon and The Office. Will this tag team veteran continue to have issues with one-on-one competition against Julius Coleman or will the PP3 be proving grounds for Ray Rosas as a singles star in Hollywood?
Howdy Price and his Rancheros (Photo by Devin Chen)
PP3 qualifying action continues as four competitors step into the ring for one spot in the tournament. First is fan favorite “Uptown” Andy Brown, who earned this opportunity by scoring victories in the fall of this year. Brown is joined by tag team wrestler Espiritu, who is separated from partner Astro Viajero in this Four Way Dance to show his abilities as an individual. Unfortunately for Brown and Espiritu, the remaining two men in this qualifier are Howdy Price’s Rancheros. Raul and Rogelio have made a tear through the entire Championship Wrestling From Hollywood roster since debuting this year, which spells bad news for the two other men between the ropes with them. Though entered into this match as individuals, one would think that the Rancheros would be working in tandem. What will this mean for all involved since only one man can qualify?

History will be made in our Main Event, as the NWA Worlds Heavyweight Championship will be defended after a five-year absence in the company. Champion Tim Storm has demonstrated over the last several weeks that he’ll take on all comers and Nick Aldis will not be denied a title match. Aldis aims to use his stamina and youth to outlast Storm, who is over twenty years older than the challenger. The age gap could prove to be the difference maker for these men. With age comes experience and Tim Storm’s experience has shown to be just as effective as Aldis’ youth. How will the two match up as NWA Worlds Heavyweight Champion Tim Storm defends the “Ten Pounds of Gold” against Nick Aldis on this week’s episode of Championship Wrestling From Hollywood? Tune in and find out!

Be Well: A CWFH Weekend Preview

It’s PP3 Cup season on Championship Wrestling from Hollywood. Before the tournament kicks off in 2018, the participants must earn their way into the starting brackets. On this episode you’ll see two qualifying matches unfold. The team of Royce Isaacs and Devin Sparks takes on Falco and Lucas Riley to advance two competitors into the tournament. Later in the episode you’ll see a Four-Way Dance comprising of Brody King, Bateman, “Professional” Peter Avalon and Suede Thompson to secure the next spot in the PP3 Cup.

What sound could possibly match the sweet, heavenly voice of Howdy Price? Possibly only the whistle of Coach Flexo. The United Wrestling Network World Tag Team Championship will be on the line this week as The Rancheros challenge Pac 3 in what promises to be a noise-filled contest. How will these men control themselves?

The Hollywood Heritage Champion will be in action this week, getting in the ring with Ty Matthews. What motive could Matthews have for requesting this match against Bad Dude Tito just weeks before Tito takes on Ty’s confidant, Watts? Will this encounter spell gold for Hyperoptimism or will the master plan fade to black? Find out on this week’s Championship Wrestling From Hollywood!
